Full-scholarships for covering tuition fees are rarely given by Sindhi Institute of Management. Merit-based scholarships covered fees between 20% and 50% on the behalf of students with good scores in the entrance exams, such as CAT, MAT, and Karnataka PGCET, or in their academic performances. Financial aids can be provided to those who are economically weaker sections upon production of proof of income and verification of eligibility.SIM takes an initiative in facilitating scholarships by the government like Karnatakas Post-Matric Scholarships for the SC/ST/OBC candidates that help reduce tuition fees considerably. Management quota admissions hardly get any benefit of scholarships, as usually the fees are higher. The applications must provide documents at the time of admission to be eligible for such aids.

Reports on campus placements of MBA students place the highest package from the Sindhi Institute of Management (SIM) at INR 7–8 LPA. Top-level recruiters include Deloitte, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank alongside the sectors' local firms offering job roles in marketing, finance, HR, and operations. Average packages earned have been in the range of INR 3–4 LPA, while finance and marketing stone-holders get much heftier offers. The placement cell also organizes training to help the students develop soft skills and sharpen their aptitude and interview techniques, further facilitating their employability. Placement conditions are erratic, leaving a handful of students to seek placements off-campus due to low levels of campus drive activity.
