The essential eligibility requirement for admissions to the BArch course at Sir M.V. School of Architecture is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates). Moreover, candidates who have completed a Diploma after Class 12 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% can also apply. For the selection process, Sir M.V. School of Architecture accepts the relevant scores of KCET/ NATA/ COMEDK. In addition, the institute also offers seats through management quota, according to the guidelines by VTU.

The detailed steps of admissions are as follows:Application Process: The application process for Sir M.V. School of Architecture admissions is completely online. Candidates can apply for their desired programme on the college's official website. However, they can also reach out to the admission committee of the college to fetch more information around Sir M.V. School of Architecture admission process.Selection Rounds: Sir M.V. School of Architecture admissions are merit-based for BDes and BPlan courses. Whereas, for BArch programme, candidates either need to appear and qualify for KCET or NATA entrance exams. Moreover, candidates can also secure admission to the programme through the Management quota. Students who apply through a valid score on the aforementioned entrance exams must go through the next step of the admission criteria.Counselling Process: Students who hold a valid score of NATA/ KCET must participate in the COMED-K counselling process.
