SoET Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) Gandhinagar Answered Questions

The total tuition fee for SoET PDEU BTech is INR 9.6 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates need to pay the programme fee after completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat in the unviersity. Apart from the programme fee, aspirants also need to pay an application fee in the start. The application fee is INR 1,200 for students who have passed Class 12 outside Gujarat. Aspirants passing Class 12 in Gujarat have to pay an application fee of INR 700.

There are a total of 420 seats for BTech at SoET PDEU. Out of the total intake, 33% seats are offered through ACPC Counselling and 67% through All India Quota. The 67% of All India Quota is further divided into 52% for All India and 15% for NRI. Candidates who have complete a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate or CPI/ CGPA of 5.5 in 10 point scale in the qualifying degree in relevant subjects can apply for SoET PDEU M.Tech course. The subject requirement varies specialisation-wise for M.Tech programme. Aspirants applying for M.Tech must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. 

SoET PDEU admission to BTech is based on entrance exam score.  Candidates can apply for BTech through JEE Main score. Admission to BTech is offered on All India and Government seats (ACPC Quota). Candidates can take admission in BTech Biotechnology through GUJCET score. Once selected, candidates are offered a seat in the university. 67% seats are offered under All India Quota and 33% of seats are offered under ACPC Quota. Aspirants need to pay the programme fee after receiving the offer letter to confirm their seat in the university.

SOET PDEU has not specified the deadline for applying for M.Tech programme. However, it is likely to close applications in June for Phase-I as per the 2023 schedule. Candidates can apply online on the official website of the university for M.Tech admission. The admission process is also likely to be closed by the end of June.

SoET Pandit Deendayal Energy University offers two-year M.Tech programme divided into four semesters.
