Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC) and PSG College of Technology (PSGCT) are two reputed institutions for B.Tech in Coimbatore. SREC, which offers good faculty and infrastructure, and PSGCT, which is generally regarded as the one with a stronger reputation, are the most well-known of them, and that is the reason for it has been held by people. The college often conferred its position by the help of industrial bigwigs, admission of the extremely qualified students. It is recognised through the services of TEQIP, funded by the Government of India. PSGCT also consistently ranks higher in national engineering college rankings. But still relative to SREC, PSGCT is likely to offer better prospects of internships and exposure to industries.
