Vidya Prasarini Sabha's College of Engineering and Technology (VPSCET) has a divided reputation when it comes to its faculty. On the one hand, students report that some faculty members are cooperative and supportive, especially in some departments such as Computer Engineering, where faculty quality is largely good. Faculty members are commended for motivating students to work hard both academically and in extracurricular activities with semester exams under strict supervision, maintaining academic discipline. But there are issues of variation in the quality of faculty between departments. In certain divisions, particularly outside of Computer Engineering, there are insufficient faculty members, and even certain departments are maintained by a few teachers only, impairing the quality of lab sessions and overall guidance. Most of the faculty members are new graduates who have not much teaching experience, which results in grievances over the lack of proper academic guidance in some departments. The overall rating from student feedback on faculty is 2.7 out of 5, showing potential for improvement in support and experience.
