Candidate must have studied Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ IT/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies with 45 percent marks in the above subjects taken together from any recognised Board/Council. The 40 percent marks of SC/ST and OBC is for the candidate belonging to maharashtra State. Candidates who are appearing at the qualifying examination are also eligible. Maharashtra State candidate must have to appear for MHT-CET. All India candidate need to appear for MHT-CET/JEE Mains. However JEE Mains will be preferred over MHT-CET.For lateral Entry: Candidate who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology & obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for Backward class, EWS & PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply.

For General Category students the fees is INR 1,25,000 but if the annual income of the family is less than 4-5 lacs then the student gets scholarship and the fee is reduced to 78,000.For OBC category students the fees is INR 78,000.For SC the fee is INR 17,000.And for ST the fee is INR2000-4000.(J&K candidates get 100% scholarship here i.e., tuition fee is reduced and only exam fee is to be paid.)
