The NMIMS DAT or the Design Aptitude Test for B.Des programme is usually administered in two stages. The online registration for this first phase begins December 6, 2024, however the registration deadline is on March 10, 2025. This exam is planned for the period from January 1, 2025 through to March 15, 2025. That for the second phase of the registration the online registration begins on the 11th of march 2025 and the registration closes on the 20th of may 2025. This paper is anticipated to be taken between March 16, 2025, and May 25, 2025. The cost of application for NMIMS DAT is about 2600 Rupees

NMIMS DAT 2025 sample papers can be solved as part of one’s exam preparation.
Also, you can solve them very early on in your exam preparation.
If you have completed a few topics, try solving questions related to those topics. As you move deeper into the syllabus, there will be more questions to solve.
Solve as many sample papers as you can.

NMIMS DAT 2025 sample papers should be used as exam preparation resources.
Sample papers will contain similar types of questions to those asked in the entrance exam. By solving sample papers you can get exam ready.
Also, silly mistakes can be fixed by solving sample papers. You can also improve your problem-solving and time management.

Classes for NMIMS DAT new admission season will commence in July 2026. Candidates who have been selected for admission in the merit lists and paid the admission fees can join classes.

The SVKM's NMIMS Deemed to be University offers a B. Des. (Humanising Technology at its School of Design (Mumbai Campus). Admission to the programme is based on merit of the NMIMS DAT exam.
Interested candidate need to fill out the NMIMS DAT application form. The application link will be given on this page. Note that only such candidate who qualify in the exam and meet the prescribed criteria will be considered for admission.

Candidates who are included in the NMIMS DAT 2025 selected candidates list need to pay the seat-acceptance fees to confirm their seats. First merit list candidates have to pay the fees within the given deadline.
Note that if the payment is not made within the given deadline, the allotment will be cancelled and offered to the candidate next in the order of merit.

SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed to be University will release the Merit List I of selected candidates in May 2025. The merit list includes the names of candidates eligible for admission to the design course.
The candidate can download the merit list from the admission portal of the institute. Use your candidate credentials to download the merit list.
If the candidate is not included in the merit list, he or she will not be considered for admission.
