<p>Yes, all candidates who wish to apply for the IIIT Bhubaneswar BTech courses must clear the JEE Mains to qualify for admissions. The allocation of seats is done during the JoSAA or CSAB counseling rounds on the basis of JEE Mains score.</p><p>For Odisha candidates also the JEE Mains is a mandatory entrance exam for BTch admissions at IIIT Bhubaneswar.</p>

<p>IIIT Bhubaneswar conducts six different seat allotment rounds in one year to admit candidates into the BTech course. The allotment of seats during these rounds is done on the basis of candidate's score in the JEE Mains. These six seat allotment rounds are usually conducted between the months of July and August.</p>

There is also no difference in the BTech fees charged from IIIT Bhubaneswar students of different categories.</p><p>Thus candidates can choose their preferred BTech course at IIIT Bhubaneswar without considering its course fees.</p>

<p>The IIIT Bhubaneswar BTech fees is around INR 12 Lacs for the academic year 2026. This fees is mostly paid on per semester basis with a few one time payments paid either before the commencement or at the end of the BTech course.</p><p>However, the fees charged for the life insurance policy has not been mentioned in the above BTech fees.</p>

<p>Yes, a student can apply for change of branch of BTech programme in IIIT Nagpur but only after completing the first year. The branch change is granted strictly in order of merit. No swap or mutual exchange of students is allowed. <p>No, the IIIT Bhubaneswar BTech admissions are currently not open for the academic year 2026. Usually, the institute opens the admissions for the Odisha category first in the month of May. However, the general category candidates have to wait for the JoSAA counseling rounds to be concluded for BTech admissions at International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar.</p>

The reservation criteria is 70% seats through REAP counselling, and 15% seats from Outside Rajasthan and 15% by the Management as per Government guidelines.</p>
