<p>General category students are offered BTech merit-based scholarship at IIT Patna. They must have a minimum SPI of 6.50 and no 'F' grade in any of the programmes in first semester. The annual income of student's parents/ guardian and his family from all the sources in preceeding financial year must not be more than INR 4.50 lakh. Selected students get INR 1,000 per month for two semesters (8 semesters in a year) and a free tuition fees.</p>

As per which, the fee refund amount decreases after the last admission date. If the admission is canceled before 15 days of last admission date, the institute refund 100% fee after deducting INR 1000 as processing fee.</p>
