<p>In general, no, you should not wear jewellery to the IIT JAM exam centre.</p><p><br><strong>Security Checks:</strong> You are likely to have to go through security checks by way of metal detectors at the entrance. Jewellery can trigger metal detectors and causes delays, and can only be annoying at the examination.<br><strong>Distraction:</strong> You may find if you wear jewellery, it can be distracting in the exam and be uncomfortable. You need to consider this and take jewellery off and leaving it at home or preventing any unnecessary issues during the exam.</p>

<p>As per the CUSAT CAT exam pattern there will be 225 MCQs. The mathematics section will have 90 questions, physics will have 75 questions, while chemistry will have 60 questions. The exam duration is 3 hr and the maximum mark is 675.</p>

<p>Candidates who wish to appear for the CUSAT CAT BTech exam must have passed thier class 12th exams with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. They should also obtain a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together. Kerala SC and ST candidates do not have any minimum percentage requirement however, they must has qualified their class 12th exam.</p>
