UGC exam has few science streams. M.Sc in organic chemistry would come under the chemical Science stream. This exam would cover questions from different Science streams which come under chemical Science like organic and inorganic chemistry.
The exam is for 2 1/2 hours and has two papers. The first paper will contain general science questions. This will be common for all exam streams of NET. Well for M.Sc Degree at IIT Bombay, you need to give IIT JAM exam. I have given GATE exam (not JAM) for M.Tech, but my guess is that the admission procedure would be similar. Get a rank within top 150, after which are shortlisted for screening test+interview (sometimes only interview). Only after clearing those interview you are admitted. For an IITian the GATE/JAM exam is exempted but you need to clear a minimum GPA limit for this. And yes, maths is compulsory.

No, it is not possible after B.El.Ed because M.Sc requires a full fledged 3-year graduation degree (B.Sc) in a particular subject whereas in B.El.Ed, the optional subjects of graduation are only taught for 2 years.

Yes, you can apply for APSET. You should have secured a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master's degree or equivalent exam from any university/college that is recognised by UGC. Aspirants belonging to reserved categories such as OBC (non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PwD are eligible to apply if they have secured minimum 50% aggregate in their Master’s degree or equivalent exam.

You need to have secure at least 55% marks in your Master's degree exams (in streams such as humanities, social science, electronic science, computer science & applications, etc.). From a UGC recognised college/ university fulfill UGC NET 2018 eligibility criteria.
