No, much better placement in cluster university for M.Sc placememt.Although placement started when a student reaches final her. Many companies first provide internship then someone perform good in internship they will hire them on their jobs. Some companies directly hire toppers with good package. All students have to look outside to get the job. Many of my classmates were struggled to get the job after completion of course. No figures to say when there was no campus placements. I heard that few companies came for placements but all were call centre companies.

Hello Souvik,
Both are unique in their own ways. It all depends upon where your interests lie and career goals. Opt for M.Sc if you're more inclined towards the technical field; networking, OS, software, databases, etc. Else go for MBA, if you want to make your career in the management field. For career growth and job prospects, MBA is better than M.Sc. You can pursue MBA in different streams like finance, marketing, HR, IT, operations, etc. as per your interests. A MBA/M.Sc degree has more value, only if done from a reputed B-school.
M.Sc and MBA are both post graduation degrees in the field of Science and Management respectively. Both are equally valuable in their own field. M.Sc degree holders are employed in R&D, teaching, industry as technical resources, Civil Services, Defence, Paramilitary, Government departments etc. Majority of Bio-Science graduates are employed in R&D, Teaching and industrial production roles.
Eligibility criteria in the majority of universities and colleges for doing M.Sc IT is a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with maths/statistics in 10+2 with 50% marks. If you meet the above-mentioned criteria then you can seek admission in M.Sc IT.
