There is no concept of on-campus placement in foreign universities. In terms of ranking and repute UCD (Smurfit) is better and one of Europe's top college. You can check the career reports or request the department to email you the report so that you can check and compare.
Both M.Sc CS & MCA are equally good courses. M.Sc CS students have very good theoretical background of Computer Science subjects whereas MCA students have very good exposure on Computer Applications. Indian IT industry's primarily business and major revenue is from Application Development and Support projects because of which MCA graduates has minor edge over M.Sc graduates. I will suggest you evaluate and select degrees based on Institutes reputation, brand image and placement record.

Hi Alka, I think you are in a pretty okay position. Your class 12th percentile is alright. But, you managed to get a better rank in B.Tech. You can apply for coursework based MS. There is another variant of MS which is research based, and will be very competitive, international students hardly get through.
As the acronyms suggest MCA focuses typically on the application side whereas M.Sc. Focuses on the Science / core concepts. Hence, in general, I would recommend M.Sc. Over MCA. Having said that, there are a lot of factors that one needs to consider before making such a choice as:
Curriculum: Pay attention especially to courses covering core concepts like
Data Structures and Algorithms
Theory of Automata
Operating Systems
Programming Languages
Compilers
Technologies covered: Make sure that you weigh in the coverage of technologies from the current trend like Machine Learning, Virtualization, Python, Docker, DevOp... View more
Your situation seems to be just like mine. I am a graduate in BCA. Now I want to do forensics. Most of the universities that I have searched require a 3 year degree, whereas for atleast 2 years you should have studied bio/phy/che/maths (atleast 2 subjects) or a degree in forensics. I will let you know if I succeed in finding the one that suits the situation.

Yes. Currently if you have a degree in mathematics, Statistics or economics is considered to be a boon. The current requirement for big data analytics, data analytics, business analyst and many more jobs on these lines require candidates to have a good knowledge in the above mentioned subjects. I think you can go ahead with what you have planned. If you are good at your subject then companies would absorb you with a good salary. Hope I have answered your query.

Dear aspirant, The B.Tech course is highly suitable to those students who quickly want a job in the concerned industry just after completion of this course. However, only this B.Tech degree is not much appreciated by the employers. Only entry to assistance level jobs will be available to them at low-to-average salaries. This also happens due to the burgeoning number of B.Tech holders every year in the country. The integrated B.Tech-M.Tech course is highly suitable to those students who seeks to gain specialisation in any specific segment of the selected engineering discipline, and have interest in teaching or research. Normally, the holder... View more
