Both the the specializations give you equal number of opportunities more or less. Moreover scope can also be determined by your potential in the field and the university you are studying in. My personal suggestion would go with accounting specialization in B.Com. Also choose a good college as it will ad to your holistic development. Some suggestions -

I would highly recommend you to pursue MBA in banking & finance. The reason behind this would be as you have already completed your graduation in commerce & currently working as an account assistance, if you undertook this 2-year full time MBA course this would surely add the value to your career growth. Candidates willing to appear for the CMA June exam term must complete the online registration and enrol to the course by July 31. Candidates aspiring to appear for the CMA exam in December session must be enrolled with ICMAI on or before July 31. Admissions take place throughout the year. Students willing to appear for June Term Examination should apply before 31st January of that year and for December Term Examination should apply before 31st July of that year. The dates for ICWAI 2018 December term have not been announced yet.

The career opportunities after completing ICWA is very bright. If you join a reputed company as a finance manager, then the average salary will be INR 1.25 to INR 1.40 per month. And, assistant manager’s average salary will be 50k to 60k. So, if you can say the career opportunities will be good after completing ICWA. Thanks.

<p>CMA 2022 syllabus is being followed for the June 2024 exams. Old CMA students who enrolled into the course before the CMA 2022 syllabus came into existence were allowed to appear for the exam with CMA 2016 syllabus. However, now the CMA students will have to prepare for the exam using the CMA 2022 syllabus.</p><p>The CMA 2016 syllabus has now been discontinued after December 2023 exam session. Candidates planning to take the CMA exam in the sessions after December 2023 have to prepare as per the CMA 2022 syllabus.</p>

CS or Company Secretary Course is one of the most preferred Professional Course for Commerce students. Students of other stream may also pursue this course. CS course is conducted by ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) which is regulated by MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs of India). A student can register for CS Executive course either through: CSEET i.e., after clearing CSEET successfully or Direct Entry Route in which he/she may be a Commerce or any other stream graduate / post graduate with a specified minimum percentage of marks or has passed the final level of ICAI or ICMAI.
