Yes, BSEB 12th books are enough for board exams as they are designed by subject experts according to the syllabus. They cover all the topics in a simple and clear manner. Most of the exam questions come directly from these textbooks. However, for better understanding and practice, you can also refer to sample papers, previous year papers, and guidebooks. Focus on solving textbook exercises and important examples regularly.

Here are two things to keep in mind:
The problem reading time must be reduced. You should be able to read a question and translate it into variables and/or diagram/equation at one shot. Most students read a question slow/multiple times with an intrinsic fear of getting it wrong otherwise. Practice reading fast. We seldom realize that toppers save half the time in reading and understanding the questions faster than others. The problem solving time can be reduced. Conceptual/process memory builds if you have solved different types of questions multiple number of times. I suggest a student should revise his/her coaching books/sheets at le... View more

Hello aspirant!

You must start with your VITEEE preparation as early as possible. Since the syllabus of VIT overlaps with 12th standard qualifying examination, you can simultaneously prepare for your board exams and VITEEE. By starting your preparation early, you will be able to complete the entire syllabus and have enough time to revise and solve mock tests and last year sample papers. Having enough time to revise before the examination is essential since it will allow you to be well-versed with what you had earlier studied.

Best of luck for the exam!

Current Student- DTU, Delhi,

First of all, read the NCERT books properly. Knowing this content itself is enough for you to score great in Mains and decently in Advanced.
Solve as many problems as possible. Repeating same problems is no problem; infact, it is good to brush up what you have practiced previously.
Just remember the exception and note them as many exceptions as possible in a notebook and revise the on the last month before exams.

Once the JAC 12th timetable is released, students should create a detailed study plan that aligns with the exam dates. Prioritize subjects that are scheduled earlier in the exam timetable and allocate sufficient time for revision of each subject. Keep in mind that balancing between weaker and stronger subjects is key. Also, ensure adequate time for challenging topics. Daily practice of previous year question papers and timed mock tests can help improve time management and boost confidence leading up to the exams.

There are certain essential differences between CAT and GMAT.
1.) Quants section of CAT is tougher than GMAT. In CAT, you can afford to skip questions, but in GMAT, you cannot do that.
2.) If you don’t do well in CAT, then next year you can take CAT again. If you don’t do well in GMAT, you can retake GMAT after few months. Speed and accuracy is essence of both.
3.) CAT cost: Rs.2000 approximately for per-form.
4.) GMAT: Rs.16k approximately for per appearance.
I hope this helps.
