As per the WBJEE 2023 pattern, the questions are divided into three categories. Category I consists of 110 multiple-choice questions where only one answer option is correct. Category II will consist of 25 multiple-choice questions where the candidates will have to select only one correct option. Finally, Category III will consist of 20 multiple-choice questions where one or more option will be correct. Candidates will have to answer majority of the questions in the examination correctly to have a higher chance of being qualified for the exam.

<p>It is not mandatory to attempt all the questions in the SITEEE exam. Candidates can attempt any number of questions out of the total 60 questions in the exam. Each question in the SITEEE exam carries two marks. Therefore, for every correct answer, a candidate will get two marks. Here it is to be noted that there is no provision for negative marking, i.e., no marks will be deducted for the wrong answers. So, candidates can give it a try to get the answer. <p>There are a total of 20 questions in Issue of Social Concern section of KIITEE Management. Candidates can attempt as many questions they want to. Attempting all the questions is not mandatory. There is negative marking in KIITEE Management exam, so candidates must not do guess work. Attempt only those questions which they are sure of.</p>

Nothing can be predicted beforehand about the no. of questions and/or a score that can fetch you 99 percentile. Percentile is a relative term, which depends upon how the exam is, how the other test-takers have fared in it and how many easy-tricky-difficult questions you've attempted. So, since there isn't any fixed number, it can be anything between 45-70+ questions.

IIT JEE is a single - stage objective type examination consisting of two papers of three hours duration each to test comprehension & analytical ability of candidates. Both papers, Paper-1 and Paper-2 will each have three separate sections on physics, chemistry & mathematics.
