GATE is the entrance exam applied to judge the candidates in different engineering disciplines for the majority of M.Tech courses at SFIT. Unless and until a candidate has a valid GATE score, they are not eligible for counseling and allotment of seats. Besides the score, the candidates with valid GATE scores get priority in admission. Hello Rakesh, It is very nice and good to know that you are interested in doing either M.Tech or MS abroad after completion of the B.Tech in India. M.Tech will keep you updated and in your core area of competency even as you are in employment. On the other hand MS will slightly take you away from this core area. Frankly speaking, both these options are excellent and will provide you with fulfilling your dreams. Best wishes to you.

Hi,
If you have completed M.Sc IT, applying to another MS degree will be very difficult. You can complete PGDCA or the first year of MS IT, this depends on the career outcome and the subjects taught. You have to tally accordingly, check if you want industry related course or want to go for research. You can also drop a few emails to the universities and find out their preference.

Hello Atul,
Germany is a highly competitive country. Your academic background does not seem to be sound and competitive. The number of backlogs is huge and the percentile is not competitive too. You can always give it a try, but I would suggest you check out other countries like Australia or even New Zealand. If you want to study in Europe, you may check Netherlands, Spain, France and so on.
