There is no bar to either the age of the candidate or the number of times a candidate can participate. The minimum academic qualification for appearing in the examination is a Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Fine Arts or Engineering from a recognized college or university of India.

CEED is conducted by IDC, IIT Bombay in order to offer admission to aspirants in M.Des programs offered at colleges accepting CEED scores for admission. Self-preparation is an ideal way to prepare for the NIFT exam. The exam includes two parts A&amp;B.

A valid Common Entrance Examination for Design score does not, however, promise admission to the desired institute. And also no recruitment was done for jobs based on Common Entrance Examination for Design score.
