If you refer investment bank as traders, then nope. These jacks only recruits from target elite schools, such as Oxbridge, LBS, LSE, ICL, UCL in the UK, Ivy league level schools in the US, If you mean analyst jobs, then an accountant qualification can break into, but it's more geography relevance, the US doesn't trust their CPA can do an analyst job; they more likely prefer the CFA accountants in UK is very popular and look up to, and ACA/ACCA/CIMA can work their way into back office, mid-office positions. As for China, accountants and CFA are comparable in analyst jobs, so CPA ACCA is recommendable.

I would recommend that you first decide you want work as end user? Or a functional consultant. Or part of project implementation team. If you are okay travelling in rest of your career, option three is best. If not you could look at option one and two. Selecting place of learning is more important. If you are not getting hands on experience, industry avoid hiring Freshers for SAP as these are mission critical applications and any mistake could lead to disaster. You could count on us we provide training cum placement with live project experience.

As a qualified CWA professional, you are responsible for maintaining and scrutinizing accounts, preparing cash budgets, maintaining cash flow statements among others. But it is cost cutting that you would specialise in. If you want to pursue the Company Secretaries Course, you have three stages: Foundation, Executive and Professional Programme. Graduate students are exempt from Foundation Programme. Here is a ready reckoner.

Hi there. No, there is no problem in being a company secretary alone if you have in depth knowledge. However, most of the people and even firms prefer a CS with a LL.B. Degree over someone without it or any other course. A CS with LL.B. Will definitely have more knowledge and experience in the field. But it is not impossible to get a job without LL.B. Or other courses, you can go ahead if you can study with your heart and soul into it.

Hi,
The company secretary course is conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. It is a pan India organisation which has chapter offices all around the country. You need to register yourself with the Institute and you can go ahead with the CS course. It is also worth noting that CS is not conducted by any university or colleges. The best place to study might be chosen for any coaching which you undertake.

EducationConsultant,

Definitely age matters for freshers to get a job either in private or government sector. You should complete ICWAI before the age of 30 i.e. all levels of CMA. Few companies hires after the age of 30 with the valuable experience of around 2 to 3 years. You can follow the websites of ICMAI/placements to get more details such as rules and procedure.

Basically, your question is not clear. Still what I interpret is you are from commerce background and you want to go for B.Com along with some specialisation in taxation. So this can be done on your part. B.Com as for graduation is meant for commerce people interested in accounting and taxation and on that if you go for some specialisation in taxation that is going to be a good combination. You can also prepare for government exams of income tax authorities.
