I find your question incomplete. You should specify the entrance exam you are talking about. Only in that case, I will be giving you specific advice in that domain. but mostly in all the entrance exams basic mathematics is asked. Also as you have mentioned that you have opted for Science please mention the stream you opted for. If biology, then mathematics will not be your core subject but mathematics is a powerful tool applicable in physics and chemistry.

The placement scenario at KIIT is what I call beyond my expectations.
Terminology: First of all, Day 0, Day 1, Day 2 are basically arrival dates (month wise) for the companies. It is expected that better companies come earlier but then again there is no such trend. Secondly, rounds can be classified into types technical or HR. HR round contains behavioral questions like, Why do you want to join this company etc. and technical depends upon your branch subjects as well as basic computer science (If you're not from CS, be well prepared).

The IIFT entrance test consists of 110 questions divided into four sections. Out of these, the General Awareness section is relatively easier, with only 20 questions. As a result, you can easily prepare for this section using any static GK fact book, such as a Manorama or an Arihant GK book. The GK asked in this section is usually fact-based, such as about members of the BIMSTEC organisation. You can prepare for this section by keeping track of important events, personalities, awards, etc. In the news in the last year.
