I would like to mention that for a majority of the MS programmes, the IELTS requirement is 6.5. You have to check this with the university while applying. But considering that you have work experience and got two papers chances are good. Entry requirements for every university is different. Check for minimum IELTS score requirements, pre-requisite courses, academic grade requirement, LOR and SOP requirement, deadlines etc. Ryerson University has a good MS programme in Data Science and Analytics.

Yes, for almost all MS programs in USA you must take the GRE. For some creative courses like designing, etc. It is not required and will depend on the university.
