Hi Parth,
This is your personal decision. If you are really fond of automotive engineering and want to specialize in only this field, go ahead. If you want to a wider knowledge of ME related things in general then choose ME. You must still opt for a specialization though. It is to you totally. Germany is a great place for these fields so just go ahead with your interests and career plans.
Hello Sankalp,
It's a tough query that you have raised. There are no easy answers. Actually there will be as many opinions as asked. This is an area where perceptions play an important part. I would like to advise you to have a different approach. First decide to which country you want to go. Then select university. Then, methodically fulfill all criteria and admission would be a simple affair.
Best wishes to you.
Environmental Sciences (EVS) is an interdisciplinary subject where you have options to know much more interesting things from various fields. However, if you want to go for research then you have a lot of scopes. If you can qualify JRF NET then you will have clear opportunity to be a part of IITs or IISC. And if you want a handsome fellowship then in foreign Universities, you have good scopes. (In India research fellowship is only manageable amount like 25k and 28K without JRF, that's too if you have qualified NET JRF) I know this because I have some friends in the same field. Only things you need is to find the good universities and an ad... View more

In general, universities abroad require a minimum of 3.3 CGPA on a 4-point scale. A 7 CGPA on a 10-point CGPA scale corresponds to a 2.8 CGPA on a 4-point scale. Hence, a 7.0 CGPA might not be as good if you are seeking admission to a good university abroad and you might face disappointment on your application for admission by most universities abroad.

Hello Alka,
To get a visa, you must first have the admission offer letter from a university abroad. Your HSC marks are well beyond repair but if you have scored good marks in your Bachelor's degree then why not. All you need to prove is your worth by showing good academic marks and overall profile.
Hi Hemant,

Hi Lokesh, Students who usually want to play more professional roles in their lives, in the long run, and believe that they can be good in any business or entrepreneurship, tend to choose an MBA degree abroad. But students who want to follow a different approach, say get into research or work for a year or two in companies and then get into teaching, tend to choose an MS degree abroad over MBA. If you wish to focus on engineering as your core passion and work in an engineering-related sector or conduct research in engineering or take up teaching engineering as a career, then an MS or an M.Tech would be a good choice. But, if you are one of... View more
