As a graduate in CSE, I should say, that the bulk employments from big Service based industries, we had during the 20062012 is over. But still employment would not get dry or reduce, but would be scattered in various new technologies. Any CSE student should make himself/herself job-ready when he/she completes the course. Apart from curriculum and syllabus, it is always better to learn new technologies and keep yourself updated. But not at the cost of syllabus. The syllabus is the basic one and every graduate is expected to be completely master in it.

Hello Sambhaji, Seeking transfer to another engineering college is next to impossible. This is so since colleges see it as loss of revenue. However, if these two colleges belong to the same management, then perhaps it is feasible.

BIT, Jaipur is pretty good. In the end, it all depends on how dedicated you are. It has the highest package of over 24 LPA as well for CSE. The average package is decent as well. Most of the placements happen at Mesra, hence you get a chance to show your skills to the bigshot companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Direct. The opportunity is provided, rest is on you.

I think you should opt for PES-CS. The placement for both the college is more or less the same. As far as my knowledge goes, EC is a lot more difficult subject to study than CS. Also, CS has a better opportunities in the future. If the fee for PES is not a problem then you should opt for PES.

There is a lot of difference in both engineering but related to one core branch only that is computers. In computer science, the subjects are purely based on computers and its functioning with different types of branches of computer such as programming, networking, etc. Whereas in IT branch, it is a combination of computer and management skills. And from the syllabus point of view, in last year of engineering, some subject differ for both the branches, otherwise, it is same for 1st and 2nd year.
