It is up to you, what you want to be or do. You may go for a Masters in mechanical engineering or a specialized Masters in an area of your choice, examples may be material science, manufacturing, transportation design , automotive and automobiles, management engineering and so many.

It depends on your field of interest if you have a keen interest in business/finance/economy than MBA is a good option. If you want to continue in the technical field than M.Tech is a good option. If you want to work for MNCs than MS is better. M.Tech and MBA have few premiere institutes which will offer best courses and placements. MS, on the other hand, will be different in courses/curriculum but it's easy and its cost is at par with that of a top B-School.
