Tuition fee in Germany is very less. German Universities allows 20 hours of work per week to MS students. You will be able to subsidise your leaving expenses by working. Budget of Rs 10 lakh for 2 years is sufficient to do MS provided you are ready to work while studying. This is based on my personal experience of sponsoring my son's MS in Germany.

You may consider McGill University, University of Alberta, University of Calgary, University of Manitoba and University of Toronto for MS Genetics. Admission requirements may vary. Most universities require applicants to have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4 and some experience (paid or voluntary). Applicants must submit the online application form alongwith the transcripts, reference letters, GRE or GMAT and TOEFL or IELTS alongwith the application fee. No USA University offers assured job after MS degree. In fact majority of the universities do not have even any campus placement support system like it is available in Indian Universities or engineering colleges. California state has good job opportunities for fresh MS graduates. In USA, jobs are based on your qualifications and merit only.

Since every individual have different requirements and planning, the answer to your question will also differ. There is no specific course which could be tagged as the best. It is up to you, what you want to be or do. You may go for a Masters in mechanical engineering or a specialized Masters in an area of your choice, examples may be material science, manufacturing, transportation design , automotive and automobiles, management engineering and so many.

It depends on your field of interest if you have a keen interest in business/finance/economy than MBA is a good option. If you want to continue in the technical field than M.Tech is a good option. If you want to work for MNCs than MS is better. M.Tech and MBA have few premiere institutes which will offer best courses and placements. MS, on the other hand, will be different in courses/curriculum but it's easy and its cost is at par with that of a top B-School.

AN MS in supply chain management is likely to be more technical and focused on supply chain itself. An MBA is more about general management. So MS is better than MBA in this case.
