Hello Suraj,
The admission at Sastra University is based on stream 1(JEE main+ board exam percentage) and stream 2(only board exam percentage). If you have not appeared for JEE, then apply under stream 2. Your percentage is really good, but if you come under stream 2, then you may or may not get computer Science as 70% of seats are filled under stream 1. You have a good score, so that you have good chances to get a seat for computer Science at sastra University.

CSE: CSE engineers are involved in many aspects of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers and supercomputers to circuit designing and writing software that powers them.
IT: Information Technology deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to store, protect process, transmit and securely retrieve d... View more

Management & IT Consultant,

ECE is a hardcore engineering branch will open door for you in Electronics, Telecom and IT companies. With CSE or IT you have only career options in IT industry. B.Tech CSE/IT graduates also compete with BCA MCA M.Sc CS graduates. Therefore job competition is higher for CSE/IT graduates & also their supply is very high vis a viz demand. If given a choice I will prefer ECE over CSE/IT.
