College selection expert,

Hello Swarup,
As per your rank, your chances are nil for getting any good govt. and private colleges, so figure out what went wrong and prepare well for next year, however if you are inclined to get admission this year only then try for colleges like Galgotias, GL Bajaj, NIET and GNIOT.

12th score is only for admission in any B.Tech colleges but if you have marks less than 60% in PCM then you can't get admission in any reputed college as the minimum eligibility criteria of 60% but you can get admission in normal colleges this only matters your class 12th marks at the time of placement little effect of it if you have good marks in B.Tech then problem will be sought out.

Get a seat in MVSR CSE by counselling from EAMCET. The conditions are- you should get 10000 below rank.

No, but in KIIT, there is a rule for girls in which about 30% of the total seats in each branch is reserved for girls. So if you are a girl, then you shall get CSE, else it's just a dream. But last but not the least, there is another rule in KIIT which states that in case you have not been able to get your favourite branch in the first year, you can opt for a branch change from your current branch to CSE if you have a CGPA above 9.0.
and to any other branch except CSE, if you have a CGPA above 8.5.
I hope that this of mine helps you.

Hi, BE CSE 70% is excellent. Since you have 1 year of experience and have certificate courses, it surely adds to your skill sets and abilities. But indeed, if there is some gap after the 1 year of work experience or even if your work experience is most recent, in either case, I suggest you take another year's work experience. 2-3 years of hands-on work experience post the under graduation helps to make a smooth transition to Masters. Projects and live scenarios and internships too assist in gathering recommendations and references.
In the 1st year that you work, browse and explore what course in Masters you want to do, what is the dur... View more

UPSC aspirant,

If you have an interest in computer hardware and software, but you aren’t sure which career path to choose, you probably want to learn about information technology (IT).
And,
An IT career doesn't necessarily require a computer Science CS degree, although a CS degree opens certain doors that otherwise wouldn't be available. IT professionals typically work in a business environment installing internal networks and computer systems and perhaps programming. Computer scientists work in a wider range of environments, ranging from businesses to universities to video game design companies. Both of these careers have excellent growth pote... View more
