In the Indian context, there is no difference between MBA and PGDM/PGP. As per Indian law, only a university can give MBA degree. All other institutes can provide only PGDM/PGP, not MBA. PGDM is a Diploma programme whereas MBA is a degree. Prestigious institutions such as IIMs, XLRI are autonomous and thus provide PGP/PGDM.
Hence, when it comes to the job market, only the standard and reputation of the institution matters to the industry, not the nature of the degree. It is the same worldwide. If you are from a prestigious institution, you will have good opportunities irrespective of the name of the programme (PGDM/MBA/PGP).
