Hi Kartikey,
After class 12th, your approach should be to focus on the static areas such as history, geography, polity, environment and general Science. You need to clear your basics regarding these subjects as they form the 60-70% basis of prelims examination. The books you can initially refer are NCERTs of class 6th-10th for Science and environment, and for other mentioned subjects from class 6th-12th.
A lot will also depend on, which course you will opt for your graduation, as a lot of areas would be covered in your higher studies. There are a lot of options available such as B.A, B.Sc, engineering, medical, etc. But the fact of... View more

Yes, one can use CAT DILR books for TS ICET Analytical Ability preparation. However, CAT-level books are more advanced and contain tougher puzzles and reasoning sets than those asked in the TS ICET exam. Candidates can still use the CAT DILR books to help strengthen logical thinking and problem-solving skills. For TS ICET-specific practice, candidates can rely on solving previous years' question papers after they have completed the syllabus.

2) FTC questions.
Avex questions are a bit simple. With FTC, you get to the exam and recognise the exact questions. Its always nice to work it out.
FTC question's use a lot of mock exams. I would recommend doing them until you get tired of it.

Hello Madhav,
Preparation strategy for both exams is actually same. Perseverance, hard work, numericals, mock tests. Please make a timetable assigning time for study of each paper everyday. You also must assign time for exercise & Pranayam everyday. Every week try to take mock test. Get it evaluated and work on weak areas.
Best of luck.

Hi,
If you are a first-time CAT-taker with no experience, then you should take up training with one of the major brands since would you need high-quality classroom material (our Quant content is developed by a 6-time CAT 100 percentiler), comprehensive study material, Mock Tests taken by students across the country and extensive support for What-GD-PI. Usually all the aspects are covered only by national players such as IMS, CL or TIME.
I suggest you visit any of the centres personally, find out more about where classes are actually held (centres or external venues), batch sizes (should not be more than 30-35), number of tests offe... View more

Hello Hasnain,
To appear for different entrance exam can be quite taxing for a student. The solution is to have a single All India test on the lines of NEET for medical admission. But, for this pressure needs to be exerted on government to take some action.
It will enable you to enhance your ability to think logically and fast. There is actually very minor difference in syllabus for class 12th by different boards across country. So, do not get bothered.
