Happy to help !!!,

If you are determined to get into CSE in any IIT then you should take a drop.
As your rank is also not good go get admission into any IITs, so you must have to do something either taking a drop or taking admission into some of the private colleges.

It will depend upon the college only. Every college has its own opening and closing rank for individual branches. Also, there should be a big margin between the cut-off and secured marks by you.

Winners Never Quit.......,

It depends on the college. If you are dreaming about IITs, NITs then there is separate entrance exam and other private and state colleges considered 12th marks. So, you need atleast 75% in board exam. All the best.

Positivity is my Saviour,

B.Sc. Computer Science is of 3 years and divided into 6 seems. 1,3,5 are odd Semester and 2,4,6 are even semesters. Whenever, you have a back paper from odd semester you can write the back paper in the next upcoming odd semester only. Same goes with Even. I can't write my back paper from 1st SEM in 4th SEM as it is not in the same sequence. And after your graduation you will have a certain period of time to complete all your back papers and later you will not be allowed or ending up writing every subjects from the backed semester.

Hello Vikas Mehra, I am afraid that no one except the national testing agency can find out and declare the ranks of the students who have taken part in JEE Mains examination. There are multiple sessions of this exam and the percentile is declared for each session separately. When all such sessions are over, NTA decides to rank based on the percentile determined up to the seventh place of the decimal. Of course, there are rules of thumb. But these are purely guesswork and hence I will not advise going by it. Just wait for a few days for the ranking to be announced by NTA. For getting CSE, one must be in the top five percentile bracket, mean... View more
