The differences:
The CS engineering programme usually deals with how to build microprocessors, how to write a compiler etc. IT is the business side of computers - usually dealing with databases, business, and accounting. One way to think of it is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes and CSE deals with the Science that facilitates these applications. Further, while CSE focuses on the foundation of computing, IT as a discipline focuses on satisfying the computing technology needs of organisations.
So, in a continuum between principles and application, IT focuses more on application, with ... View more

As per me, INR 1.25 lacs per semester. The fee increases by 10% each year that is after every 2 semesters. There may be some concession in the fee if you scored 85+% in class 12th.
Good luck.

Hello Submit Kumar Sahu, I must say that your ranking is a little on the lower side. About 50K students appeared for this entrance exam and your ranking is about 26K. Correct? Getting CSE looks difficult to me. However to help you I am attaching a link that will predict the branch and then the college that you can get based on your performance in this exam. This prediction could have some errors since it's based on trends of previous years. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/comedk-uget-college-predictor

Hello Sanjeev Shende, looks like you have exhausted admission process via entrance exam route. No problems. Plenty of private engineering colleges still have seats vacant even in this branch. You need to contact them individually since information about management quota seats is not available on public platform. This is perhaps your only chance to get admission in your desired branch in current academic session. Best wishes to you.

Hello Shad, it seems to me that you are appearing in 12th and intend to take admission in the CSE branch of engineering. There are plenty of colleges offering this branch. However since the majority of students give this as the first choice, competition is fierce. But if you study well, you can definitely get admission. Best wishes to you.
