<p>No. The Tier 1 marks for the SSC CGL are not used in the preparation of the final merit list. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature. Candidates are shortlisted for Tier 2 exam. However, the final selection and ranking is based on the marks obtained in the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.</p>

The latest syllabus for the Common Entrance Exam for Design CEED exam is given below:
The syllabus is divided into two parts:

<p>The Department of Design, IITD, is set ton introduce a B.Tech in Design program from the upcoming admission session.</p><p>It will have an intake of 20 students in the first batch. It is a 4 year program. All topics are equally important, everything from visual spatial ability, general knowledge, Science, arts, mathematics and mensuration, mental ability. It is important to go through the previous year's question papers to know the pattern because there is negative marking so one gets familiarised with the type of tricking questions. Also, the number of participating instittutes may change from one year to another. Aspirants can appear for SMEAT conducted by Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design And Technology.
