One needs a very good CEED ranks to get through the M.Des programme at IIT Bombay. Although the rank cut offs are not always announced openly, all the candidates attempt to score an All India Rank (AIR) in the lowest 50-150, particularly in the general category. It is worth mentioning that one has to clear CEED (Part A and B), but one also has to pass his own written test, portfolio viewing and an interview after which your performance in all these stages plays a crucial role in your admission even after the CEED rank. With a high CEED score rating, e.g. 60-70+ / out of 100 you are in good shape.
