You have to appear for JEE Mains exam to get a seat it NITs or IITs.
They release a notification which have happens during the time mostly when counselling gets started. Then students are expected to pay the fees in the campus. This is what am aware of VNR so far as we had recent talk with the management regarding it. Students can visit the campus and register now (after writing EAMCET for this year) so that college sends a message after opening the B category seats filling. All the best.

CSE is the because ECE's value is going down. But it depends upon your interest. If you do best in ECE then you can make a good career.
Based on your criteria of good salaries and Quality of life, B.Tech in ECE or Aeronautical Engineering can be very good options which you can evaluate.
Should I suppose computer engineering or you want to know about other branches?
Anyway, the advantages are:
You will take less analytical maths (i.e. calculus, a lot of calculus). You will take less physics classes.
Consequence: You have more pure CS focused classes already in the first year. So, of course, you will do more software and programming things, but also a lot of theoretical CS stuff, that sometimes aren't so funny. You will be more prepared for algorithms, optimization and information theory.

Your marks in 12th do not get counted during the process of admission. Your OBC rank is reasonably good. I feel you should get admission in a government college. I am attaching a link that will predict colleges for you.

Dear Bharat,
There is no major difference between IT and CS.IT includes networking, database, web and programming languages, etc.
Whereas, CS mainly concentrates on the programming languages, architecture and design. Also, on the networking and other subjects but not too deep.
Both IT and CSE are good. Its up to you to decide which subject you want to pursue, based on your interest.
IT is more of a professional track course. You are taught about systems and their functioning on a need-to-know basis. You are taught regarding the basic applications of a technology. It makes you an expert at the surface level of the tech, which will aide you to develop skills required at the industrial level. A good example would be a Network Administrator. You need to know about Networking and some basic hardware and software rules. IT can teach you what you need to know about their functionalities.

The B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) programme at Bharatiya Engineering Science and Technology Innovation University (BESTIU) has a total capacity of 218 seats for admission. and thet should be according to the management decision and furthur the accomodation part to get the seat

We all need to understand that the name/title/Nomenclature of a Degree is the decision of the University. In this question, B.Tech, CSE or CS are more or less same. The curriculum may vary as per university not per the course title.

Hello Bhavya,
While CSE, equally covers both hardware and software aspects, IT and software engineering has a lesser focus on the hardware aspect. However, this difference hardly matters as universities frequently keep updating the syllabus for each branch.
Unless and until, you get a job in a hardware manufacturing company like Intel, Logitech, etc. this little difference in the syllabus hardly matters. Most of the jobs offered is in the software domain.
So, there is no need to compare the little differences between the branches. Get admission in a good college in any of these branches, keep a percentage of over 70 without any... View more
IIT-Bombay or IIIT-Hyderabad are the best options. If you don't have that much marks let me come to other options other than NIT, IIT, and IIIT. KIIT, VIT, SRM, Manipal and THAPAR are the colleges you can try for. Other than that if you can specify your marks or criteria then I will be able to suggest you a few good options.
