Hello Kalva,
I would suggest you to appear for IIT-JEE and AIEEE. These two entrance examinations provide admissions to IITs/NITs and other government colleges, which are cost-effective. However, these entrance examinations are a bit tough. Further education in IIT/AIEEE is cheaper with more assured placements.
Besides this, I would also suggest you to appear for individual state examinations (OJEE in Odisha, EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana and COMEDK in Karnataka, etc.). These exams also guarantee you good colleges and serve as a backup. The more the entrance examinations you appear for, the more the options you will have for c... View more

ECE is a hardcore engineering branch will open door for you in Electronics, Telecom and IT companies. With CSE you have only career options in IT industry. B.Tech CSE graduates also compete with BCA MCA M.Sc CS and B.Tech IT graduates. Therefore job competition is higher for CSE graduates & also their supply is very high vis a viz demand. If given a choice I will prefer ECE over CSE.
In Information Technology u have to study pure Software Programming and u literally have to be strong in software skills but in Computer Science u have an additional part of the hardware.
CSE.coz all the electronic items need a software in this generation

Hello Mohit,
Information security and cyber forensics is one of the highest paid jobs in computer science engineering. However, to be able to apply for a job in that field, you need to have Master’s degree. A B.Tech graduate cannot apply for those jobs.
I hope it helps. If so, kindly upvote this answer. If you've any further questions, kindly revert.
Admission to most of the universities or engineering colleges is through entrance exams. The eligibility to appear for engineering entrance examination to do B.Tech CSE is PCM subjects at 10+2 stage. If you have PCM subjects then you are eligible to do B.Tech in CSE.

Hello Suchitra,
Of course, there are difference between the two. Although, no two computer professionals explain those differences in the same way. One way to understand the differences is to examine two specific words within the given nomenclature; namely, engineer and science (or scientist). Engineers, by nature, are tasked with developing solutions to problems or creating more efficient processes by using tools already in existence. By extension, software engineers often find themselves creating new software by utilizing existing languages or established practices already in use. Contrary to this, scientists often hone their experti... View more
Yes they both are different in their own way.Actually most people dont know th clear difference. They refer computer engineerin to computer Science engineering. For eg. Theres lot of difference in IT , CE, CSE, CT (Computer technology). Whats the main difference is that computer engineering mainly focuses on both the hardware as well as the software part whereas computer Science is all about software, programming and algorithms. CSE includes heavy mathematics knowledge as compared to Computer engineering. When it comes to scope, in my opinion CSE is the better one as it is all about designing stuff. There goes a lot of brainwork in CSE than CE...
