Computer Engineer deals with everything like programming or developing software, computer engineering graduates do have knowledge about hardware as well. To say clearly, they have knowledge of electronics. In short, these graduates deal with both hardware as well as software.

Hello Janeen, Without any doubt this course in Mumbai IIT is the best. One needs to be in top 60-70 of JEE Advanced to get admission here. But other than these there are some private universities that are good. B.Tech always dominates B.Sc. If you want to pursue B.Tech in CSE or B.Sc in IT then choose B.Tech in CSE. CSE is better than IT.

Hello Pritam,As you are interested in programming, my advice is to take B.Tech in CSE. B.Tech in CSE has many opportunities nowadays. Another option is BCA or B.Sc Computers.

In Pune, only 3-4 colleges are good and DY Patil is not among them. I'd suggest you not to go for Pune colleges if you're going for CS. There are better colleges in Mumbai than Pune and placement rates are also great. If you want to go for CS prefer VIT then RGIT and then RAIT.
