Computer science engineering deals with the designing of software, looking at algorithms and how the two interface with other software. It is part mathematics, part engineering and a little bit of creative arts all mixed together.
Computer engineering is more of a hybrid role that focuses on how computer science and electrical engineering come together. Computer engineering deals with hardware design. The engineer focuses on both the hardware and software aspects of technology. They study how the two interact together.
According to me computer science engineering has more scope.

Hello Vishal,
I see that many students get confused with the different names provided by the different institutes for the same course and you are no exception. Computer Engineering and Computer Science Engineering refer to the same course. No course can guarantee you good placements. While it's the college's responsibility to bring in as many relevant companies as possible, getting placed in the company depends on the skills and knowledge of the student. I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.

Majority of first generation entrepreneurs in India are IT professionals who have created innovative software products and launched their e-commerce services. You will definitely learn technical skills to become an entrepreneur if you do B.Tech CSE or B.Tech IT. You can do short courses on management subjects to do your own business.

The placements for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at Heritage Institute of Technology are good, with many mass recruiters visiting the campus. However, the quality of education and faculty support may vary, and students may need to put in extra effort to achieve good conceptual understanding. The college has a large campus, proper hostels, and conducts various tournaments and cultural fests. Overall, it is considered one of the top private colleges in West Bengal, with decent placement opportunities.
