It would be best if you do any Diploma course in banking and finance along with B.Com as it will boost your career opportunities. These Diploma courses have many demands in the market. I just want to say that just enjoy your college life. If you are serious then think about PG courses.

The subjects in BFM would include topics like Financial Accounting, Macro-Economics, Business Communication, Business Statistics, Debts Markets, Corporate Finance, Equity Markets, Financial Services and others. First of all, CA is a professional course, you don't need admission for that. You can go into CA stream and I believe any student of any stream can go into charted accountancy after 12th. Even science stream students are excelling more in that because of mathematics and CA starts with CPT exam which is a general and common one. It hardly matters which stream you belong to but successive exams of IPCC and finals are totally accountancy based.
