Students can select a college based on the rank calculated by their marks in the TANCET. Yes you can pursue correspondence MCA after b.com but you must have math in 10+2 level or in graduation if you dont have math in your 10+2 level then you can do BCS -012 course simultaneously with pursing MCA.If you have any more query you may ask.

There are a few disadvantages of pursuing MCA degree through distance mode:
1. No placement opportunities
2. A grade companies not prefer distance mode education but if you have knowledge and experience than you can apply for 2 job option.
Otherwise, I have seen live examples in my professional life there are many students with good knowledge, commitment and caliber working with TCS, Oracle and Wipro with good pay package.
