The available information primarily covers general admissions for first-year students. However, if you're considering a lateral entry option, it's best to contact the college directly to inquire about specific procedures or availability. With CPA if you mean Certified Public Accountant and with CMA if you mean Cost and Management Accounting then these are not offered by universities. These are offered by respective chartered institute such as CPA by CPA UK and this course has no career in India as in India its alternate CA is available
For CMA, you may pursue it from Institute of cost and management accounting.

Hello Chirodeep,
B.Com majorly gives you jobs like that of "Financial Analyst or Manager" because it deals more with statistics, finance and economics.
*Typical things to do after:
1. CA
2. M.Com
3. Consultancy (one of the highest paid jobs).
4. Banking / Auditing
5. Government Jobs (for example, RBI)
6. MBA in Finance
*Offbeat things:
1. Law
2. Hotel Management (in cost departments)
3. Teaching
4. Start up
5. Work in Think tanks like 'Niti Aayog'
Choose wisely.
All the best.

If you are very clear about practice in taxation law, there are four options:
1. Do CA alongside B.Com followed by LL.B. (6 year plan, less rigorous, but time consuming)
2. Do CA/CS alongside B.A. LL.B/B.Com. LL.B. /BBA. LL.B. Depending on institute choice. (5 year plan, Most ideal, but highly rigorous, since two professional courses parallely)
3. Do just CA if not targeting practise with law firms, more suited for individual practise.
4. Do just B.A. LL.B. /B.Com. LL.B. /BBA. LL.B. , if targeting tax practise with law firms. (while CS is recommended)

Hi Adithyan,
Please email them for your query, nobody outside the university will be able to precisely tell you if they will accept you or not. Also, your percentile is not very competitive. So if you haven't contacted them yet please do so soon. They may ask for a evaluation or ask for other pre-requisite courses.
