But difficulty is related to the individual. I would say the content isn't that difficult, but there's a lot of content to get to grips with. The quality of y... View more

Pilot with Air India,

To become an airport manager, the process begins from supervisor level. You need to gain experience in managing teams of over 50 persons. It includes a rigorous involvement in all activities related to the operations of the airport. You can begin with any PG in aviation like airport management. There is no such specific qualification that will entitle you to become an airport manager. But yes you should be a post graduate and should hold an experience of at least 10 years in aviation industry at management levels. This shall entitle you to become eligible for the position of APM of a small airport.

Hi,
There is no substitute for GMAT you either take it or you don't. CFA may substitute work experience requirement for MBA but you have to check the entry requirements with the business schools directly.

Dear Manish
CA is a highly decorative profession. Once a student completes the certification, there is no issue of getting a job. Besides one can also practice privately in his career. Since it is a statutory designation, the value of certification is very high. As a person gets experienced the benefits of package go on increasing. Initially after completing the certification a good candidate can start with 6lacs per annum package approximately. This package actually depends on the negotiating capability of the candidate with the employer at the time of the interview. I hope this would suffice. All the best and God bless you.

You can go for PG or MBA and other courses. Thus after B.Com go with higher studies. If you are not interested in PG, then there are also some computer based courses like PGDCA and DCA.

You can go for designing like jewelry designing, fashion designing etc. If you want to do a professional course in this field then you should go for NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology). It offers both under graduation and post graduation degrees. You will have to give entrance tests to get admission. Google it you will get to know everything about it.

You don't have to worry about filling out forms for college now. It starts around April-May. So, when you are in class 12th, then just make sure you have a clear concept of the syllabus you learned in +2. So, you can do well in entrances apart from the Merit based system. Look out for entrances, as they take place during May and as far as DU is concerned, the cut offs come out in late May or early June.

Hi,
Last year, the cut off for general category was 79% in CAT. This year, for attending the group discussion, the cut off for general category is 50% in CAT. But, a score of 75% above in CAT will keep you on the safer side to get selected.

Well, true to some extent. But, the way questions are framed and tested is difficult in CA. Class 12th concepts will help you for sure, but you need to practice CA test like CA TEST not class 12th.
