Hi Zia, I have given response to your question which is comparison between DTU and JMI. In that I have suggested that you do mechanical. Listen, it is possible to pursue your interest in computers while doing mechanical because computer and software are present and needed there as well. You will not do web or software development but will work on computers. If your hearts still wants computers science, I am with you and should say go ahead and follow what your heart says.

1- A Diploma can be said to be a document awarded to a student after the completion of a course. On the other hand, an Associate degree is a title conferred on a student when he completes a college studies.

You should apply for lower and middle order nits like NIT Patna, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Bhopal, IIIT Bhubaneswar, etc. Better to apply for all the nits available in the list.

You can opt for any engineering college which is AICTE, UGC recognized and have good placement records. As an engineering student, I can say that college doesn't matter nowadays if you are looking for IT sectors.
