You can go for CMA foundation as it will be helpful to you. CAT is completely different and meant for some other purpose. Therefore, you can choose accordingly.

B.Com general is more an older course with mix of many things such as companies act (basic level), MHRM and so on whereas B.Com banking and finance is a professional and more practical and specialised subject beneficial for someone interested in making career in core finance.

So work hard and get hands on it. If you are master in any programming language, you will become competitor in IT industry. According to me, if you crack CPT you can go for CA. If you don't like science, then go for commerce if you have interest in maths. Going for arts is not bad but is of no use nowadays. Only if you want to prepare for civil services, then go for arts or else commerce will be a good choice.

The cut off for this course in Maharaja Surajmal Institute is quite high. The first cut off recommends 96.5%, whereas forth cut off recommends 90%. However, you can directly visit the college for management quota.

Yes, you can. I did my B.Com through distance along with CA and completed my graduation, I am yet to complete CA. Secondly, many of my friends even managed regular colleges and CA classes together (they even did self-study for a few subjects) and even passed all their CA exams in one go. It all depends on you and how well you plan your routine.

You can go for B.Com M.Com and Ph.D. to choose a good academic career, or you can go for B.Com and MBA in financial markets for good job prospects in companies. Log in to some good websites to check details regarding Visvesveraya, Lovely Professional University, Chitkara, etc., or if you have patience then you can go for CA CS CMA or CWA.
