Hello Abhishek,
It is very nice to see your desire and aim of getting into Jadavpur University computer Science engineering department. It's one of the best in West Bengal and obviously many students who appear for WBJEE give this as first option and hence the cutoffs are pretty stiff. From the information that I gathered for the year 2018 rank of 1000 in OBC category would have got you admission in this course but every year is a different year hence you should aim for getting the rank of about 700 under OBC category if you want to make sure that your admission must be confirmed. Best wishes to you.

Always here & happy to help u......,

Hi Mosam,
In my opinion, CS, EE and EC branches would provide you with far better opportunities than mining. So, choose mining, if it is your one and only available option. Choose Mining if no better option is available. Mining should be your last choice. The scope of mining engineering is similar to the number invented by Aryabhatta. Getting a job in the mining sector can be easy, but you would definitely get a highly paid job, but I am not sure if you would be happy in working under such conditions.

See for Gen PwD it is just 19 marks means if you correct just 5,6 questions then you will clear JEE Mains and for just Gen they need to correct at least around 30 questions to clear JEE Mains. Hope you getting this difference. But I suggest you do not take it as an advantage and do not study much. Please study well and try to get such marks that you do not need any type of reservation to get any seat.
