<p>It is usually not the norm to get directly admitted to the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program at the Institute of Engineering and Science, IPS Academy, based only on your results on the board test. For admission to their B.Tech programs, the majority of engineering institutions, including IPS Academy, normally require entrance exam scores, such as those from JEE Main or the institute's own entrance exam. But some universities might give management quota seats or take a merit-based admissions approach where the results of the board test could be taken into consideration during the selection process. It is recomme... View more

Hi, Both ECE and CSE are trending branches in engineering and one cant claim its upper edge in terms of value. If you go for ECE then you will be dealing with hardware of electronic circuits and radio signal propagation. In CSE, you will deal with various programming languages, and papers are a mix of theory and programme coding. If one wishes to go for CSE, then he or she needs to be really good at coding. In placement, most of the companies offer jobs in the profile of computer coding/programming. So, choose the one which you really interested in!
Thank you and best of luck.
No, there is no possibility of getting CS or CS related branches with your rank. Better luck.
<p>Based on your OBC rank of 130,000 and CRL of 500,000, securing a seat in the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch at a government college in Delhi through the Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi is highly unlikely. Historically, the closing ranks for CSE in top institutions like Delhi Technological University (DTU) and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) have been significantly lower. For instance, in previous years, the closing ranks for OBC candidates in CSE at DTU were around 92,663, and at NSUT, they were approximately 1,09,654.</p>
Any 6 months course would be a certification course, hence that would definitely not add up to an additional year of graduation. Therefore, in case you wish to pursue the same to go for a career in aviation then it could be of helpful.
However, as you have mentioned that you require a 4-year graduation to apply abroad, then you need to look out for other option apart from aviation.
The fee is approx. 70 thousand per semester. For more information related to colleges and CSE branch check the link provided:

Hi,
Yes, you can. In SASTRA, 70% seats for B.Tech course are filled on the basis of JEE Main score along with prior weightage to the marks in 10+2.
30% seats in B.Tech are filled on the basis of merit drawn on the basis of marks in 10+2 followed by counselling. In the case of admission through JEE Main over 70% seats, 75% weightage will be given to JEE Main score while 25% to the marks in 10+2. In the case of admission, on the basis of 10+2 merit over 30% seats, normalized marks of each board will be considered.
Best of luck.
Hello Vidhya, To get into a good reputed college you need to give some entrance exams like JEE Mains and Advance (for IIT's, NITs and IIITs). Then comes the entrance exams of some private universities like VIT, BITS, KIIT, UPES, SRM and DTU. Then there are some universities which take admission based on your JEE Mains marks like Thapar University, Amity Noida, LNMIIT, HBTU many more. Then there are state level entrance exams of every state. Good luck!
