Getting CSE or IT branches in NITs are difficult, But you can get the following in NITs.
1. NIT Agartala ( Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering&amp; Production Engineering)
2. NIT Arunachal Pradesh (Civil)
3. NIT Srinagar (Chemical, Civil and MME). .

Based on the information you have given, you have fewer chances of getting into NITs. However, you can try getting admission into government colleges in your state that accept JEE scores. If you go for ECE then you will be dealing with hardware of electronic circuits and radio signal propagation. In CSE, you will deal with various programming languages, and papers are a mix of theory and programme coding. If one wishes to go for CSE, then he or she needs to be really good at coding. Yes, you can. In SASTRA, 70% seats for B.Tech course are filled on the basis of JEE Main score along with prior weightage to the marks in 10+2.
30% seats in B.Tech are filled on the basis of merit drawn on the basis of marks in 10+2 followed by counselling. In the case of admission through JEE Main over 70% seats, 75% weightage will be given to JEE Main score while 25% to the marks in 10+2. In the case of admission, on the basis of 10+2 merit over 30% seats, normalized marks of each board will be considered.

Hello Vidhya, To get into a good reputed college you need to give some entrance exams like JEE Mains and Advance (for IIT's, NITs and IIITs). Then comes the entrance exams of some private universities like VIT, BITS, KIIT, UPES, SRM and DTU. Then there are some universities which take admission based on your JEE Mains marks like Thapar University, Amity Noida, LNMIIT, HBTU many more.
