Hi Chandrashekhar,
You've mentioned it right! UTM Shillong indeed is a good college for pursuing B.Tech in CSE.
UTM provides B.Tech degree course specialization in 2 major domains- B.Tech Oil and Gas Informatics and B.Tech Cloud Computing & Virtualization Technology.
Both the programmes are offered in academic collaboration with IBM.
As far as the Placements are concerned, UTM holds a fairly good placement record as well. Specially considering the students of B.Tech program.

The difficulty in getting a seat into Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in top/very renowned universities is that its rank is 80,000 in TS EAMCET. You may face difficulties in getting seats even in lesser-known or some private colleges. There would be tough competition from their side for some private college/university, as that institution might provide CSE seats to the candidate given this rank.

Hello Rohan, it's very difficult to answer such queries. This is so since we all have only past information to depend on and make guess as to what is going to happen four years from today. Many things can change in these four years. My perception is that at present Sinhagad is a better choice.
Best wishes to you.

Most universities in India will not allow students to give a B.Tech in Computer Science entry without writing the entrance exam. But, there are exceptions, like some private universities or institutions that give direct admissions through non-entrance tests management or institutional quota. Hence, your avenues here are:

Private Universities: Most of the private universities, including VIT and Shiv Nadar University, SRM University, offer direct admissions through their own entrance tests (like VITEEE, SRMJEEE, etc.) or on merit. If you were to qualify based on eligibility criteria and score well in your 12th boar... View more
Dear Adil,
Greeting from AIMS Institutes! Programmes offered at AIMS are PhD, MBA, MCA, MSW, MTTM, M.Com, MA ENG, M.Sc in Maths , BBA, BHM, BCA, B.Com,BA & PUC.
Best wishes.

You can get admission for B.Tech CSE at some colleges without appearing for any entrance exam. Some private institutes offer direct admission to B.Tech programs based on merit, and some conduct their own entrance exam. But it is always seen that the colleges that provide direct admissions are not among the top institutes of India. If you want to take admission in top institutes, you need to appear for entrance exams like JEE mains, but if your priority is getting a decent college, you can apply to direct admission-based institutes.

Hello Sainath, I think you will agree with me that your rank is a bit on the lower side. I am afraid with this chances are very slim of you getting admission in CSE.
Hi Sakshi,
Please check the expected college and branch using any college predictor and last year cutoff. Feel free to ask if you have any doubt. Good luck.
Can you make your question clear? What is your JEE Mains and 12th score? If you have got good marks in JEE Mains and if you belong to SC/ST category then you have 60% chances to get the admission.

Yes, it is there. Requirements are as same as in India. Candidate nee to pass in +2 with decent marks. But, I would suggest you to go for Mechanical engineering, as Germany want more Mechanical engineers. Government give concessions and jobs after the course.
If you want to go with private institutions then you have to pay a different fee, approximately minimum 3 to 4 lakhs. Secondly, you must either be the appearing candidate or pass with PCM.
