So you should try for other branches like information technology, electronics and communications engineering, electrical engineering, civil, mechanical engineering etc. These branches will be available for you in lower order nits like NIT Patna, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Durgapur etc. Best of luck.

Hello Harika, if I may say so, your ranking in COMEDK is pretty low, particularly if your desire is to obtain CSE branch for studies. To me, it looks next to impossible for you to get this branch under normal conditions. However there is one way. You can get it under management quota. But for this you will have to contact colleges personally to know fees, procedure etc. Best wishes to you.
Hello Sathvik Reddy Dokkupalli, I am afraid that your quest to get CSE with percentile of just above 95 is not likely to materialise. With more than 10Lakh students appearing for JEE Mains, almost 5% or approximately 50K students have better percentile than you. The total seats for this branch are much less. If you are interested only in this branch then I suggest that you should attempt in your state CET and also aim for better percentile in next round of JEE Mains. Best wishes to you.

Sastra will give admission based on IPE or IPE + JEE percentile. You haven't mentioned your ipe marks. If your ipe marks are above 983 you will get sastra under any of the streams. All the best.
In good NIT or IIIT there is less chance that you will get CSE but in average or below average NIT or IIIT, there is good chance of getting CSE, but there you will get less opportunity than good NIT or IIT. So it totally depends on you whether you want to go with good Branch or Good College. In good college, if you have any other branch then also there is maximum chance that you can easily learn CSE related stuff and many companies allow their different branch student to sit in CSE placement if they have CSE related Knowledge. SO it is beneficial to choose better college than better branch.

According to the cutoffs for NITs in 2021, you might have a chance of getting into NITs but you might not get top branches and may have to compromise with your choice of branch as the cutoff for branches like CSE or ECE is very high. However, it is important to note that cutoffs change every year and depend on various factors such as rank secured in the JEE Main examination, availability of seats, choice filling, reservation criteria etc. I hope this helps!
