It depends on the company that is going to recruit you. Core CSE companies give more salaries in order of 6, 7, 8 LPA when it comes to both CSE and EEE you will only get 3, 4, 5 LPA.

Old NITs, if you are going there for job purpose. And, if you just go for the degree, then I'll prefer you to opt for the new IITs, as there their name is far better than NITs.

Engineering Student,

In RustamJi Institute Of Technology there is no entrance exam. Admission is done on the basis of different quotas. Like seats are divided in two quotas, one is MP State quota and Paramilitary Ward quota. In MP quota, candidates take admission through counseling process held on state level . In Paramilitary quota, wards of BSF and other paramilitary forces can apply for it. Admissions is based on the college level counseling. Admission are taken on the basis of your boards or JEE Mains marks.

Preparing for UPSC CSE 2021,

If you have interest in computer or coding then go for CS, or if you have interest in electronics and computer then go for ECE. If you don't have interest in any of these, then go through the syllabus of these branches of the college you want from their official website. Then decide which suits you the most.

As your rank is not good enough to get such colleges which is best for CSE through JOSAA.
Go to such colleges which offer their own test and counselling for admission.

Simple but significant,

Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Your score is not much good. According to your rank, it is unlikely for you to get computer Science in any NIT or IIIT even the lower ones. Generally the closing obc category rank for CSE in all institutions is around 10000-12000. Although you may get other branches such as Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, etc. In good private universities. You can also explore private colleges accepting JEE Mains score if you wish to pursue Computer Science only. Hope it helps. If you found it useful then upvote or thumbs up my answer. Good luck.
