CAT preparation alone will not be enough for XAT as XAT has a section on Decision Making which is very different from anything on CAT question paper. You will need extra preparation for it.

Not much. For IAS you have to prepare mostly the subjects like history, geography, and about administration (art stream subjects). Science is not much needed.

Hi shrikrishna, You have 4 subject to study for NEET. So concentrate on the subjects you like try to score maximum in this. To score in botany and Zoology study NCRT textbook 1st and 2nd year 80% questions comes from that remaining from other sources. Try to solve as many as problems in Physics and Chemistry. Cover Basic theory topics in Physics. Chemistry also have theory topics to cover. Once you finish each and every topic cover the MCQs in various books it improves your memory and develop your solving skills. If your thought the answer is wrong then don't attempt the question you may loose by negative marks. Prepare well.

Since the WBJEE syllabus consists of topics from 11th and 12th standard Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics syllabus, NCERT books will cover all of the units that need to be studied. Just go for NCERT books. Completely mug them up, eat it drink it and after they are completed, go for online mock tests and practice your knowledge. After doing that, you can then go for reference books.

3. Verbal Ability : 40 questions
While the UGAT syllabus comprises the following topics
1. English Language : 40 questions
2. Numerical and Data Analysis : 30 questions
3. Reasoning and General Intelligence : 30 questions
4. General Knowledge : 30 questions
