The eligibility criteria for engineering admissions through CET exams can vary depending on the specific state and college. However, having 40% in 12th standard may not meet the minimum eligibility requirements for most engineering colleges. Typically, engineering colleges require a minimum aggregate percentage in 12th standard (usually around 50-60% or higher) with PCM Physics Chemistry Mathematics) as core subjects. Since you mentioned having 40% in 12th standard, it may be challenging to secure admission in a regular engineering college through CET exams. However, there may be alternative options available, such as Diploma courses or la... View more

Hello,
Yes, you may be able to do your MS in CSE or IT from your undergrad stream of ECE but would be highly competitive. Since both the countries require high scores in the Bachelor's degree with least backlogs, and strong SOP & LORs, you must posses good grades & apply. Canada in addition to your application, prefers your communication with the professors of your stream as most of the MS in Canada are funded & need faculty approval for admission. I would strongly suggest you to take GRE too along with an English proficiency test (IELTS or TOEFL).

I still prefer VVIT in this aspect. You have your all round development. For CSE and IT guys : you have Google code Labs with 300 million dollars investment. For Mech and EEE guys : you have Siemens labs. If you wish to take initiative in business: you have tie ups with Foreign Universities such as Boston, South Eastern universities. All these are not available in RVR&JC
My advice is to choose VVIT as you are a girl, go for CSE or IT.

You will get CSE and ESE seat in this score at Bhopal or Amravati Campus till 25000. But instead what thinking what will you get think about in which Branch you are interested. Don't be in dilema that your future will be bright whn you get out of VIT. If you are not interested in what you got it will be a mess. Figure out your interest area. Sorry if I said something wrong. All the best.

Hi,
It's great to see that you have discovered what you wish to do. My suggestion would be to analyze your skills in each of the field. By your question I assume that you are still in high school, in that case you might not be able to analyze yourself with respect to mechanical field. So start by analyzing yourself with respect to computer science like how well are you at programming (C, C+) and what's your proficiency in various computer applications like MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, etc.), Media editing (audio &/or video), modeling and animation, etc. If you are good at it then you should go for it.
