Gitam University Bangalore is a new engineering college about which fewer students know about. It is a deemed university and is into research. Last year, the highest package was 27 LPA which was given by a German company to a robotics engineering student. It has the best infrastructure in Bangalore and the best hostel facilities but the fee is 2.5 lakhs per year for people who have written Gitam's entrance exam. For Karnataka, people who have written KCET exam, it is less around 50k +25k tuition per year. Overall, Gitam is the best university for CSE.

Yes, Amity University allows lateral entry in the 2nd year of engineering. Of course, you will have to comply with the eligibility conditions. Once you are eligible, do apply there.

Hi Rashi,
Both options are good as they train you differently. Engineering is a technical degree whereas CS (Honors) will be more language based and you can pursue MCA or Master's in any fuel related to computers. Placements are done by DU but that depends on your skill set and interviews.

Hi Abhi,
VIT doesn't consider your marks for admission, so you need not worry about it. As you said, your exam turned out good, so wait till the results, you will get CSE branch because VIT have 5 categories, and for the management seats, you need to talk to the college.

You have ample of chances to get CSE in SASTRA. But wait until the 3rd of counseling ends to get your CSE branch. If your JEE rank stands with 40,000. You have ample of chances to get CSE in sastra.

Your chances to get computer science engineering is nil in the main campus with a rank of 33030. So, you may try in the other campuses.
Your board exam marks are not considered for admission into SRM University.
