Hello Akshitha, one should not loose heart after first round. If one is on the borderline ranking then with luck, in subsequent rounds thete are great possibilities of getting desired branch. Best wishes to you.
As you can observe, you cannot get any branch at these two old Campuses of Vellore Institute of Technology with your rank of approximately 68,000 in VITEEE 2022? You need to try for VIT Bhopal and Amravati Campuses only. You will definitely get some branch there. But not Computer Science Engineering. Hope this helps!
Best regards.

CSE is easier than ECE. ECE is one of the toughest branch in engineering.
DAIICT is expected to give you an edge when it comes to placements and other activities related to the CSE branch. However, coding on the another hand is something which is dependent on an individual's personal interest.
ECE is core branch of engineering. This is the age of electronics and telecommunication. ECE engineers can participate in the change the world with changing technology. ECE graduates are employed by Electronics, Telecom and IT companies. Where as CSE graduates are mostly employed in IT companies. Therefor, if given a choice I will prefer ECE over computer.

Buddy first of all if you want to go IT/CS stream, then need to clear your doubts with 2 basic fundamentals. In IT its all about Software, in CS it all about Software + Hardware + OS core. So choose the same as per your interest like in software/programing language or in IT infra-like network/server/Operating System etc. domains. Now before Joining any college or university please check the placement %, type of companies coming in campus and infra of the campus. As most of the university tell you that we have 100% placement but actually they don't have good placement %. As at the end of your 3rd year or 4th Year you need placement (if you ... View more

Hope this will resolve your query.
Firstly, it completely depends on your interest. Secondly, every course is best if you give your best and study seriously. But I want to mention about the job type of these two departments. Programmers generally work indoor. But civil engineers work outdoor and tier job is not permanent. That means if there is a project going on somewhere, you can apply for that and not always it happens that the project is in the city where you live in. What I mean by all these things is you may have to shift from city to city. Lastly, search about the course details, which courses are taken in CSE and which are in civil and find out which type of courses... View more

Computer Engineering & Electronics Engineering both are related to each other. But, considering the recession scenario, one can say that Computer Engineering is not an evergreen branch while Electronic Engineering is an evergreen branch. Firstly, it depends on your passion, interest & talent which field to opt for. If you are comfortable with electronic circuits, chips & study of physics, ECE is also a good option. Even with ECE, if you have knowledge of computer Science and it will be an additional advantage in getting hired to a good company. So, the choice is yours, you can opt any one as per your desire.
Hello Sandip,
Yes, indeed. CSE is offered by all the IIT's.
